Shirley + Derick (Breathtaking Wedding at The French Farmhouse)

Shirley and Derick’s wedding at The French Farmhouse in Collinsville, Texas, was one for the books. This venue—ugh, it’s a photographer’s dream! You walk in, and immediately you’re hit with those stunning white walls, the massive windows, and all these architectural details—a lot from a church in Europe that’s nearly a half-century old. The chapel? GUYS THE CHAPEL. The space alone sets the tone for a romantic, elegant day, but the florals we had?! Y’all, there were flowers everywhere! Everwild Floral brought Shirley’s vision to life with spring tones like baby blue, mauve, and coral, turning the whole place into a floral wonderland.

The combo of that DRESS (hellloooo Shirley, how YOU doin’?), the pastel and floral bridesmaids’ dresses, and the guys in sharp blue suits against the soft palette of the venue tied everything together so beautifully. The reception space was a stunner, with florals completely taking over the mantle and those perfect vintage touches that The French Farmhouse is known for. Blue goblets, dreamy florals, and a string quartet playing in the background? Pure. magic.

This wedding had the perfect balance of elegance and fun—when I tell you it was a party? IT WAS A PARTY. I mean, we had a late-night corndog stand, how could it not be!

It was a day full of love, laughs, and details I’m still obsessing over, but not as much as Shirley and Derick themselves.
